Fire Station
11, 7629 Broadway. Marble Avenue is at NW side of building. Round Street
is at SE side of building. Round Street was a small brick-paved alley
between buildings of the Round Chain Company when it was located in what
was then Newburgh. The fire station occupies part of the footprint of
the Round Chain Company. |

The remains
of Round Street are visible to the right of the brick screen wall. It
was a brick-paved alley running from Broadway Avenue to Marble Avenue
and ran between buildings of the Round Chain Company. |
Here can be
clearly seen the brick remains of Round Street running from Broadway
Avenue to Marble Avenue. A concrete foundation runs parallel to the
right of Round Strreet. |
